Metal Detectors Coming to Tuscaloosa City Hall

The next time you go to City Hall you’ll need to go through metal detectors to enter.  Walk through metal detectors are being installed starting Tuesday as a precaution.  There have been no issues with the current security, but the Tuscaloosa Police Department are doing all they can to keep citizens and employees safe and all efforts will be made to not inconvenience anyone.  The metal detectors are similar to the ones installed at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.  Just a reminder, guns aren’t allowed on any city property, regardless of whether the owner has a permit.
