
Mercedes-Benz of Tuscaloosa Responds to Online Hateful Comments
Wednesday morning, Mercedes Benz of Tuscaloosa took to social media to address recent comments made on their online post.
Its now become common practice for car dealerships to congratulate buyers on their new vehicle purchase via social media. Mercedes Benz of Tuscaloosa recently did just that on their Facebook page and some of the comments weren’t very tasteful.
In the comment section of the post, people were outraged at certain comments and event flooded the comment section with nice statements to combat the hateful sentiments posted.

Mercedes Benz of Tuscaloosa released a statement addressing the comments under their post.
“It’s upsetting to see this amount of hate - especially when we use this platform to uplift and congratulate our valuable customers. We do not condone this behavior nor the offensive language that was used.” the post read on Facebook.
The post continued, “We want to apologize to anyone who may have been victim to these hateful comments and know that these posts have been taken down.”
At the time of writing, the post from Mercedes-Benz of Tuscaloosa has over 100 shares and close to 130 comments.
"We do not treat our customers this way and we certainly will not leave a post up to let our customers to continue to be attacked," Mercedes-Benz of Tuscaloosa posted.
The original post has been removed and a new post with the comments feature disabled has been posted.
