
Alabama Cheerleaders Surprise Travelers at Birmingham Airport
What began as a normal day at this popular Alabama destination quickly took an interesting turn.

Friday, the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport saw a surge or spirit, cheers, and energy during the morning hours. Cheerleaders from a historic college in Alabama were seen and most importantly heard throughout airport's gates.
As Miles College celebrates their homecoming week, the Golden Bears cheerleaders stormed the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and displayed their school spirit.
Dozens of travelers watched as the cheerleaders from Miles College showed their school spirit in celebration of their homecoming.
"Today in the airport we are just coming and showing spirit showing our golden bear pride, kicking off homecoming for the weekend," said Leandra Anderson-Tolbert, the Head Cheer Coach at Mile College.
"Just getting passengers engaged and ready to go on their trips."
With this weekend being Miles College homecoming weekend, many people are traveling into the area to be at the big game between Mile College and Clark Atlanta University.
The Miles Cheer team is looking to go to competition within the next few months. The team is open to sponsorship and partnership opportunities as well.
