Tuscaloosa Mayor Walter Maddox stopped by the studio on Thursday to share the amazing story of his special connection to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

He talked about running the St. Jude Memphis Marathon and an important person at mile 20 that made a lasting impact on his life. He also had a special request to ask of Tuscaloosa residents.
