Local: A stolen cardboard cut out of Coach Nick Saban was returned on Thursday to the BP Convenience store on the strip. Owner Jay Rupani said he was glad to have the cut-out returned because the life size likeness of the Alabama head coach was his 'pride'.

National: The Pentagon disclosed on Thursday that last week, Iran fired on U.S drones 16 miles over Iranian waters but missed. A Pentagon official believes the provocation was an attempt to escalate tensions between the two countries.

Crime: Jared Loughner received seven life sentences for killing 6 people and injuring 13 more in Arizona, including Representative Gabrielle Giffords.
