Maddie Is In Need Of A Loving Home

Every week we team up with our friends at the Humane Society of West Alabama to bring you a pet in need of a new loving home. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Maddie!

Press Release

Maddie was adopted from the HSWA as a kitten, but was recently returned after 18 years when her owner fell ill. She is a beautiful black bobtail cat with a wonderful personality. She is confident, adventurous, and very affectionate with humans. She follows our volunteers around the shelter and will sit in a lap as soon as it is offered. Maddie lived her whole life in a home with other cats and a dog, so with a slow introduction she would likely be fine with either as long as she gets to be in charge. While she may be a senior cat, she is still energetic and in good health. This gorgeous house panther is just looking for someone to pamper her in her golden years.

Maddie is up-to-date on her vaccinations and spayed. As a senior, her adoption fee is only $25. All HSWA cats are available to be seen by appointment only. Please email humaneswa@yahoo.com or call 205-554-0011 (leave a message) to schedule an appointment.
