Latest Alabama Winter Storm Elevated & Limited Impact Areas
The Townsquare Media Weather Center is closely monitoring the potential for winter weather in West Alabama.
We're focusing on the path of a low-pressure system which could impact conditions and areas. Right now, the biggest uncertainty in the forecast is how far north the snowfall might reach.

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said, "The most challenging part of the forecast is defining the northern extent of the snow. For now, it looks like it will be near I-59 (Tuscaloosa to Birmingham to Gadsden)."
