The Alabama Crimson Tide went undefeated in 2020 and won its historic 18th national championship. All eyes are on the Tide as 2021 approaches, can Alabama replace historic offensive production and defend its national title?

The Crimson Tide already knows it will be in Atlanta for the season opener against Miami at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. Today the Southeastern Conference announced the kickoff time for the Crimson Tide's conference opener.

Alabama will square off with the Florida Gators in Gainesville at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 18. The game will be televised on CBS and will kickoff the network's coverage of the SEC's football season.

CBS gets to open its season with a rematch of the 2020 SEC Championship. Alabama won the 2020 game by a score of 52-46, it was the closest game of the Tide's championship season.

Alabama is currently on a seven-game winning streak against the Gators dating back to the 2008 SEC Championship. The Tide last played in "The Swamp" in 2011 resulting in a 38-10 Alabama victory.

Both schools will be starting new quarterbacks in 2021, Florida will likely be led by Emery Jones while the Tide will likely start Bryce Young under center. Young will now likely make two of his first three starts in his career on national television.
