Justin Moore and his wife Kate are getting ready to welcome their fourth child into their home. The couple won't be finding out the baby's sex ahead of time, but their three daughters all have strong feelings about the situation.

"[Seven-year-old] Ella said the other day, ‘If it’s a girl, I won’t never talk to it or claim it. I won’t never hold it,'" Moore shared with The Boot and other reporters at a recent media event. "And so, Kate was going, ‘Well, it very well may be a girl. You’re a girl. What if we had thought that about you?’ And she was like, ‘I don’t care. I don’t want another one. We’ve got enough.’ Needless to say, she wants a little brother.

"[Five-year-old] Kennedy's not as strong with her words, which is surprising because typically she’s the strongest," Moore adds, "but she wants a brother as well. Klein, [who is two], is a little too young; Klein keeps going to preschool [and] telling her teacher she’s got a baby in her belly. I don’t think she completely comprehends what’s happening."

Moore admits that the decision to wait until the baby is born to learn if it's a boy or a girl is all his wife's doing.

“It’s a battle that’s ongoing in my house,” says Moore. “Kate didn’t want to find out with our youngest. I convinced her to, broke her down, talked her into it. She is adamant that we will not find out this time -- which, I despise the idea. I just hate surprises; I don’t like good ones, bad ones. If anyone has any surprises for me, don’t. I don’t like them. I don’t know if it’s a control thing or what.”

However, it was Kate who insisted on trying for a boy in the first place. The "Somebody Else Will" singer was ready to stop having children after Klein (full name: Rebecca Klein) was born in July of 2014.

"I was happy with my girls, but my wife wants a boy so bad she can’t stand it," Moore explains. "She worked on me for about a year. She finally got me drunk and took advantage of me."

Moore's fourth child is due to arrive in June. Although Moore will spend much of the baby's first few months at home, he also has several shows on his calendar throughout the summer; a list of all of his upcoming concerts is available on his website.
