Saturday (Sept. 21) was quite the day for college football, with a number of programs pulling off thrilling upsets and providing lots of fun viewing for fans. One of these was No. 3 ranked Georgia, who toppled No. 7 Notre Dame in a tough, action-packed 23-17 win.

That team is, of course, Jason Aldean's particular baby. While he was naturally excited that his Bulldogs pulled off the victory, the singer seemed even more delighted that he managed to do the improbable—namely, snap a photo of his wife, Brittany, in a Georgia t-shirt. Brittany is an alum of the University of Alabama, whose Crimson Tide is an arch-rival of the Bulldogs.

"I always knew @brittanyaldean would come around to the 'G,'" Aldean crowed in his caption to the shot.

The couple's lighthearted "house divided" competition often pops up in their respective social media, taking jabs at each other's teams. In fact, just a few days ago, Brittany posted a photo of herself wearing an Alabama "Roll Tide" shirt while carting son Memphis about.

A fan commented, "Jason lets you wear that shirt?" To which she replied cheekily, "You mean I let him wear Georgia," and added a shocked-face emoji.

While making sure to enjoy his downtime with some good ol' fashioned college football-viewing, Aldean has a busy fall and winter ahead. His upcoming album, 9, is expected to drop on Nov. 22, and he just announced a slate of tour dates starting in January 2020 which will keep him plenty busy right after the CFP Championship winner has been determined.
