Jalen Merriweather, Killed in Tuscaloosa

We will never know what this young man would have become in this life. His name was Jalen Merriweather and Thursday night Jalen and the Holt Ironmen celebrated an Alabama Class 4A, Area Basketball championship in Tuscaloosa. His mom says his weekend plans were to take the ACT test and he'd saved up 50 dollars to buy his girlfriend flowers for Valentine's Day. Sadly, his girlfriend of 2 years will never receive those flowers, and Jalen will miss this weeks high school basketball playoffs.

Jalen was shot in the chest and died Friday at 6:45pm in Tuscaloosa. Police say the killer is a local contractor named Donald Robertson, the focus of a now 4 day Police Manhunt in West Alabama. Dear God, please help Jalen's family & we pray for #Justice4Jalen ❤️ #SomebodyKnowsSomething
