
Saturday Collision Outside Jasper Kills Walker County Man, Injures 3
A Walker County man was killed and three people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident outside Jasper this weekend, State Troopers have confirmed.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said Tony O. Roberts, Jr. was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Metro on Alabama 269 in Walker County when he collided head-on with a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu.

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which King said happened Saturday morning at about 8:45 a.m. near Mile Marker 39, less than a mile south of Jasper city limits.
The other driver and two young passengers, 19 and 22, were all injured and taken to Baptist Health Walker Hospital for treatment. Both drivers were from the nearby town of Parrish, Alabama.
Hicks was injured and transported to Baptist Health Walker Hospital in Jasper for treatment.
No other information was available on Monday as Troopers with the ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
