2 Shot in Tuscaloosa Mobile Home, Victim’s Ex-Boyfriend Arrested

A Tuscaloosa man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after he allegedly shot a woman and man through a bedroom window earlier this month.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, a woman and man were in the bedroom of a residence in Tuscaloosa's Sherwood Mobile Home Park before dawn on the morning of December 3rd when someone forced open a window and opened fire with an as-yet unidentified firearm.

The woman and man were both struck in their legs - court documents said the woman's wounds were life-threatening - and both were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators say multiple witnesses in the area identified the shooter as 33-year-old Travis Maxwell Moore, who police called the victim's ex-boyfriend.

The shooter also allegedly left a cell phone at the scene of the crime, and investigators said it belonged to Moore.

Court records show Moore was arrested this Tuesday, nine days after the shooting, and charged with two counts of attempted murder as well as two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling.

His bond was consolidated at $150,000. Moore was no longer listed as an inmate in the county jail Thursday morning, which may indicate he has been released on bond. His mugshot was not publicly available Thursday morning.
