Tuscaloosa Fire Station to Host Santa for Cookies, Cocoa and Pictures Saturday
Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue will once again host Ol' Saint Nick this weekend as they bring back their Cookies, Cocoa and Pictures with Santa event for a second year.
Holly Whigham, a spokeswoman for TFR, said Santa will visit Fire Station 1 at 1501 Greensboro Avenue from 10 a.m. until noon this Saturday, December 2nd.
This free, family fun event will feature hot cocoa, cookies and other delicious treats and an opportunity for children and families to have their picture taken with Santa inside the fire station.
Other activities on hand include writing letters to the North Pole and decorating ornaments.
TFR will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program, and asks those who attend the event to bring a donation to help make the season brighter for children in need.
"We look forward to seeing the community come together and enjoy the Christmas season with us at Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue!" Whigham said.
