Rappers Ice Cube & Killer Mike Plan Show at Tuscaloosa’s Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater
Ice Cube and Killer Mike, two icons of hip-hop and gangsta rap, are planning a show late next month at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater in downtown Tuscaloosa.
The show, announced Tuesday afternoon, is planned for Thursday, April 30th, and tickets go on sale this Friday, March 6th, at mercedesbenzamphitheater.com.

Ice Cube was a pioneer of the gangsta genre, rising to fame with N.W.A., but also had a massively successful solo career and a billion-dollar-grossing film and TV empire through his company, CubeVision.
He also co-founded the Big3 three-on-three professional basketball league, which continues to grow in popularity.
His late 2024 album Man Down was his first solo record in more than five years and performed well, debuting on Billboard's Top 10 Rap Albums.
Killer Mike is also a pillar of the gangsta rap genre who debuted on Outkast's Stankonia and has spent almost 30 years on solo and group projects, including the critically acclaimed duo Run the Jewels
The Tuesday announcement continues to round out the star-studded 2026 schedule at the Amphitheater as Ice Cube and Killer Mike join the Alabama Shakes, Breaking Benjamin and CAKE, with more news about shows expected soon.
