Local nonprofit Five Horizons Health Services is hosting its annual Sunset Supper on the River this week, a fundraising effort for the HIV treatment and outreach organization that's served the area since 1988.

This year's theme is an "Ultimate 80's Party" and will take place 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market on Thursday, May 11. Tickets are $35 and available at Fivehorizons.org/Tuscaloosa or through any of the organization's board members.

The evening will be catered by Urban Bar & Kitchen and will feature a silent auction and raffle, with tickets available on-site.

 

2023 marks the ninth year of the fundraising event, with this edition also serving as a celebration for the 35 years of support from Five Horizons to the HIV community in West Alabama and Mississippi.
