The city of Eutaw is asking its citizens to minimize water usage Thursday as power outages following Wednesday's storms impact municipal infrastructure.

Property damage and some minor injuries were reported in Eutaw as several rounds of strong storms passed through the area Wednesday afternoon.

City officials said on Facebook that power is still out in some places in the city, and some wells and tanks are not working properly Thursday.

Residents of the Greene County community are asked to keep water usage down as city crews work to restore uninterrupted service.
