City of Tuscaloosa Updates Public Meeting Entrance and Lobby Hours
Residents planning to attend public meetings or handle city business in person will see a change in access beginning Monday, February 16.
According to a press release from the the City of Tuscaloosa, the city is updating entrance access and lobby hours for Annex III, located at 2230 Gary Fitts Street, as part of ongoing facility operations.

For those attending public meetings, the University Boulevard entrance to historic City Hall will no longer be open. Instead, all visitors should enter through the crosswalk connected to the fourth floor of the downtown parking deck at 2230 7th Street. City officials say this will be the designated entry point for all public meeting access moving forward.
Changes are also being made to lobby hours at Annex III. The first floor doors, which serve Water Billing, Permitting, and the Clerk’s Office, will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both the Water Billing Office and Permitting offices inside Annex III will operate during those same hours.
For customers using the Water Billing drive thru, service will be available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. City Hall access will also remain available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through the downtown parking deck crosswalk entrance.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly when visiting City Hall or Annex III for services or meetings.
