This warning lasts until Wednesday, March 18, at 10 a.m., as residents can expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25.
These “frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
By tomorrow afternoon, we should experience a slight warming trend in our area, with temperatures rising to near 60 degrees. For the rest of the week and into the weekend, each day gets warmer.
