Tuscaloosa Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Hosts Community Blood Drive
In partnership with the American Red Cross, the Tuscaloosa (AL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is hosting a community blood drive. The event is on Monday, March 9, at The University of Alabama’s Greek Assembly Hall, located at 45 Campus Dr E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
"Giving blood is one of the most selfless acts of service a person can perform," said Anthony Hunter, Polemarch of the Tuscaloosa Alumni Chapter. "In our community, a single donation can mean the difference between life and death for someone in need.”
“This effort is designed to help meet the urgent demand for blood donations and sustain life-saving medical care throughout our community,” said the press release. The community blood drive is open to all eligible donors and welcomes the public to participate.

With the steady need for all blood types continuing year-round, this collaboration highlights the Tuscaloosa (AL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.'s enduring dedication to service and the well-being of the community.
Hunter said the chapter is “honored to partner with the Red Cross to provide this vital resource and encourage everyone who is able to join us in this mission of care and achievement."
