The spring season is officially here as the Northport Bunny Trail, sponsored by the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, is now open in Historic Downtown Northport.

Next up for the exciting trail season fun, the community is invited to check out the family-friendly Northport Bunny Trail ‘After Dark' on Friday, March 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Visitors Will Enjoy an Alabama Spring Evening at “After Dark”

“This special evening event will bring energy and excitement to the trail’s collection of beautifully decorated 5-foot eggs, sponsored and designed by local businesses, organizations, and individuals,” said the press release. “Guests are encouraged to stroll the trail, snap photos, and enjoy an evening packed with interactive fun and entertainment for all ages.”

After Dark Event Highlights

  • Live music from DJ Lit
  • DASH the Bunny, the trail mascot, will be taking pictures
  • A tattoo and glitter table
  • Yard games
  • Performances from five Bama Cheer groups
  • A variety of local food trucks will offer items for purchase, including Black Ice Snow Cones, Butts and Buns, Poppin’ Sisters Popcorn & Treats, Surf's Up Shaved Ice, and Veteran Café.
  • Axe throwing will be available for $10 with the Kiss Our Axe mobile axe-throwing truck.

Northport Bunny Trail Season

The Northport Bunny Trail runs through April 6, with proceeds benefiting the Junior League of Tuscaloosa and its ongoing community programs.

“Every dollar raised helps us continue developing women leaders and supporting our valued community partners that make West Alabama stronger,” said Junior League of Tuscaloosa President Danielle Kimbrough Spikes.

Wrap up the Bunny Trail season with a celebration for our furry friends! Enjoy pet photos with the Easter Bunny, an “Eggtivities” art station, treat stops, and local pet vendors. It’s a paw-some day of tail-wagging fun for all animal lovers.
