In a game featuring two future SEC defensive backs, the light shined bright elsewhere. Dre Kirkpatrick Jr (Alabama commit) of Gadsden City and TJ Banks (Ole Miss commit) of Hillcrest both made plays tonight, but the stars of the night were Patriots junior quarterback Bryson Kimbrough and senior wide receiver Jamarcus Prince and linebacker Matt Walker.

Kimbrough and Prince connected for three touchdowns of 51 yards, 79 yards and 29 yards. Walker had three fumble recoveries, including two that came with the Titans having the ball inside the five-yard line.

Jay Brown added a five-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter after Walker's third fumble recovery of the night. Hillcrest head coach Jamie Mitchell talked about holding a Titans team that averaged over 40 points a night to three points.

"They are a playoff team and I'm proud of the way our guys played," said Mitchell.

Hillcrest heads to Central next week as the team gets back into region play.
