
Former Alabama Running Back Josh Jacobs Makes Fifth Appearance in NFL Top 100
Former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs makes his fifth overall and second consecutive appearance on the NFL Top 100 following his 2025 campaign, coming in at 74th overall, according to his peers.

In 2025, Jacobs was the leading tailback for the Packers, finishing the season with 929 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per carry, and 13 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 36 passes for 282 yards and a score for the Packers. He has never rushed for less than 800 yards in an NFL season, despite missing time with injuries in every season except 2022 and 2024. His best performance with the Packers in 2025 came in a 27-18 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on October 12, when he ran for 93 yards on 18 carries and scored two touchdowns.
Throughout his NFL career, Jacobs jas rushed for 7,803 yards and 74 touchdowns while catching 269 passes for 2,072 yards and two scores as a first-round draft pick by the Raiders in 2019. Jacobs played his college football at Alabama, spending three seasons with the Crimson Tide from 2016 to 2018. During his three years at Alabama, Jacobs rushed for 1,488 yards and 16 touchdowns on 5.9 yards per carry while catching 48 passes for 581 yards and five touchdowns. He was a 3-star running back out of Oklahoma in Alabama's 2016 recruiting class.
