Former Alabama wide receiver Derek Kief is headed to Fayetteville, Ark., to become an analyst for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Ohio native spent four years at the Capstone (2015-18). During his Tide tenure, he saw time in 51 games, recording 11 receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns, as well as returns one punt for 17 yards and made six total tackles (four solo, two assisted) and one block.

Kief's coaching career includes being a graduate assistant at Maryland and most recently held the position of wide receivers coach at Towson last season.

Kief is a former four-star recruit from the class of 2014, who ranked No, 216 nationally, No. 33 in wide receivers, and No. 8 in Ohio, according to 247Sports Composite. He came to Tuscaloosa in the same class as Bo Scarborough, Marlon Humphrey, Christian Miller, and Cam Robinson.

Kief joins an Arkansas program that went 7-6 last year and won the 2022 Liberty Bowl.
