Alabama Earns First 2025 OL Commitment
The Alabama Crimson Tide earned its first commitment from an offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class. The Crimson Tide now holds commitments from every position except for tight end in the 2025 recruiting class.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, Alabama earned a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll.
Carroll is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and attends Central Bucks East High School. The six-foot-6, 315-pound offensive lineman chose the Crimson Tide over Georgia, Penn State, and Michigan. Carroll also held offers from Texas, Texas A&M, and Florida.
The No. 186 overall player in the country is also a top-10 offensive lineman in the class and a top-five player in the state of Pennsylvania. His future position coach, offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic, was Carroll's primary recruiter.
Alabama is looking to potentially replace both of its starting guards from this upcoming season, with Tyler Booker and Jaeden Roberts both draft-eligible at the end of the season.
Carroll's commitment now gives Alabama the No. 3 class in the country according to composite, behind No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Notre Dame.
