
Isolated Tornadoes and Damaging Wind Threat Increases for Alabama
As we move into the heightened months of increasingly severe weather threats, the Townsquare Media Weather Center is monitoring the potential for active weather next week.

The Storm Prediction Center has all of Alabama under a level 2 out of 5 for severe weather.
Timeline
James Spann, ABC 33/40 and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said the “main window for severe storms will come from around midnight Tuesday night through 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.”
Threats
There is a concern for “damaging straight-line winds up to 60 mph and tornadoes,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
