It has been a very active 2020 hurricane season. There is no indication that it will be letting up anytime soon. Hurricane season continues until November 30, 2020.

Currently, we are monitoring Invest 92L. It is located in the central Caribbean Seas as a tropical wave. It is southeast of Jamaica by a couple of hundred miles.

The National Hurricane Center predicts a “formation chance through 48 hours by 70 percent.” There are signs and environmental conditions to depict further organization of this system.  There is a “formation chance through 5 days at 80 percent.”

Exactly where is Invest 92L headed? There are tons of spaghetti models at this point. As of right now, the system could move into the Gulf of Mexico by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.  Currently, it is moving at 10 to 15 miles per hour in a west-northwestward fashion.

It is my opinion that those from Florida to Louisiana should keep tabs on Invest 92L. The development of the system over the next few days will be crucial in predicting the project track.
