Hillcrest Basketball in the Final Four Again

Hillcrest Basketball is one of my favorites to watch and our team made it to the Final Four this year.  I caught up with the guys in the hotel lobby in Birmingham as they watched film preparing for the big game versus Pinson Valley.

Hillcrest started hotter than a manhole cover on highway 69 south in August and the Pats pack-line defense dominated Pinson Valley in the 1st quarter.  Pinson Valley battled back after a 9 point deficit to lead by 2 at the half 28-26 while turing over Hillcrest 7 times.

The second half was a low scoring affair and Jalen Johnson finished with 27 points in the 3 point loss today.  The final score, Pinson Valley 54, Hillcrest 51 as the shot at the buzzer fell short for the Pats.  What a game, it was incredible and ya hate somebody had to lose but thats the game we love. #GoPats #WildBillShow
