Man Charged for Stealing Wheelchair

"I don't steal". The words of Tony Whitehead, captured today by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department.

Whitehead is charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing a 10 year old disabled boy's wheelchair and walker from a trailer park in Northport.

Police have pursued Whitehead for a month.

Tony Whitehead has been in the Tuscaloosa County jail over 30 times since 1995.

The boy's wheelchair was replaced by a local Good Samaritan.
