The Healthiest Meals to Order at Fast-Food Chains
Roughly 2 out of 3 people in America eat fast food at least once a week. It is a convenient way to choose dinner for the night, even though it’s not the most popular option when it comes to healthy eating.
From burgers and fries to tacos and chips, variety is one of the things that keeps us coming back.

When we think about fast food places, we usually don’t think about the healthy choice because it is about convenience once you get to that point. But surprisingly, there are some things you can order that are healthier than others.
Depending on where you go to order, how you order, and what items you get, fast food can be better if you decide to make it that way. Choosing entrees that are baked or grilled and side dishes that aren’t fried or high in carbs are ways to choose the healthiest fast-food options.
The Healthy put together a list of some healthy options from places we all go to or have gone to.
Subway
With all the options available, it's not foreign that healthy options are around. According to the list, the best options are the Oven Roasted Turkey Sub on Honey Out Bread for lunch or dinner, and the Egg flatbread for breakfast.
Chipotle
Chipotle provides a good balance for those who want a healthy option, and those who just came to grab something quick to eat. At this restaurant, how you build it matters the most. Nutritionists recommend a lean protein source, easy on the cheese, add fiber, and go with a bowl over a burrito to make your meal lighter. For example, add chicken, lettuce (instead of rice), fajita veggies, black beans, guacamole, and fresh salsa for a better version of your meal.
However, you decide to go about your next meal is up to you. Most of us were not taught the discipline of watching what we eat as children, so it’s our responsibility as adults to pay attention to that now, especially for our children.
