Heads Up, Alabama Parents: Concerning Baby Food Recall Details
Over 25,000 packages of baby food sold under the Target name are being recalled. The reason is that the products could contain an “elevated level of lead,” said the Food Industry Counsel.
The company that makes the product for Target, Miami-based Fruselva, issued the recall in March. The Food Industry Counsel said the products in the recall include Good & Gather Baby Pea, Zucchini, Kale & Thyme Vegetable Puree, sold in 4-ounce tubs.”

- The recall is classified as Class II, indicating that the products are not likely to cause serious harm but could still lead to temporary or reversible issues.
