Happy Anniversary Nick & Terry Saban

Nick & Miss Terry Saban have been married 45 years today.Terry first saw young Nick in 5th grade at a Pop Warner football game. He was a QB. She was a cheerleader. Two years later they actually talked & decided to go steady. The love story began in West Virginia. It continues today in Tuscaloosa.

Nick Saban lights up at the mention of Miss Terry. He admits she picks out his clothes, tells him where to go & how to get there, & rules the roost. Nick tells Miss Terry on the plane home from every away game "don't tell me I never take you anywhere".

As Alabama prepares to take on Washington in the Peach Bowl, Nick Saban rushed out the door Friday morning. He handed his bride an envelope on which he had written TERRY. "I won't be here Sunday for our anniversary" he said. Miss Terry says she won't miss dinner or a party. "No matter how late he will eventually come home. We take our marriage like we take our football, one game at a time".
