Pep Rally Brings Fun, Resources to Hale County Middle School
The new school year has kicked off and middle schoolers all over West Alabama are getting back into the swing of things. Luckily students at Hale County Middle School didn't have to wait too long into the school year to get some excitement at school.
A Live DJ, Shelton State's Cheer Squad, guest speakers, free food, and prizes were all there for students and parents to enjoy at Hale County Middle School for their Back 2 School Pep Rally.
We want to get everybody excited for this school year. It's just not school, it's more," said Alexis Gray Social Worker at Hale County Middle School.
You have a safe place within the school. Some people don't have it at home or they don't know the resources within the school."
While learning about the resources at the school, parents and students were informed about a new resource at the school. The CLAWset was announced to students and parents.

The Hale County Middle School CLAWset is a new community resource for free clothing.
"I think it's just really important to get parents here, see our faces and just know that we're here for not just our students but for them as well," said Ashley Stevenson who serves as a counselor at Hale County Middle School.
Attendees at the pep rally had the chance to hear from guest speaker Shon Robinson as well.
