Gordo, Alabama, is home to the Miss Mule Day Pageant. This might be the only Miss Mule Day in the USA. I don’t know.

The Gordo Chamber of. Commerce has announced that the deadline has been changed to Monday, May 18th.

If more interest is not shown, the Miss Mule Pageant sadly will not be able to happen.

Registration is $40, and forms are available at Alabama One and Bank First. You must sign up before the end of the day on Monday, May 18th.

Sign up and save the Miss Mule Day pageant. It would be sad to see this Gordo tradition end.

Maybe there should be a Mister Mule Day pageant.
Ladies could enter their husbands. Maybe the most stubborn competition of some kind. You know “stubborn as a mule”.  Crown somebody, Mr Jackass 2026. This could work.
