Get Ready For More Orange Cones Around Tuscaloosa

Just when you think one roadway construction project is about finished in and around Tuscaloosa, another project gets underway.

ALDOT contractors are beginning work on the new turn lanes on 69 South at Bear Creek Road and at Hillcrest School Road.

A total of ten intersections will be upgraded during this Tuscaloosa area road project.

So the million dollar question, the big elephant in the room, is when will this latest 69 South construction project be finished? The target completion date is by the beginning of the school year. I am assuming ALDOT means the upcoming school year.

Remember, patience is a virtue. Road rage is a curse. I still think we need crimson and white traffic cones instead of those ugly Tennessee orange cones. Be careful out there.
