From Mac Jones to Now: The Last Time Bama Was Picked Over Georgia
It's been how long since Bama was favored to win against Georgia?
The Crimson Tide football team heads into a bye week off a great win against Wisconsin at home in week 3. Right after the bye week, the Tide will be on the road facing a dominant Georgia team.

It's no secret that the last time The Tide faced off against Georgia, Bulldog fans left Tuscaloosa with a sour taste in their mouths. This season, the Bulldogs are ready to get revenge on what's being called a "different" Alabama squad.
With all the talk happening leading up to the game, we were bound to see the betting numbers with score spreads and such.
The numbers have been released and as expected, the Tide are the underdogs in this upcoming game.
According to 247 Sports, The Tide had consistently been a consensus four-point underdog in early, offseason betting before the Sept. 27 game and their currently 3.5 point underdogs.
What's shocking is the last time the Tide were favored to be the Bulldogs.
According to 247 Sports, Bama last was favored over Georgia in October 2020.
2020?!
Back then, Bryce Young, and Mac Jones were in the quarterback room. The Wide Receiver room was stacked with talent with Devonta Smith, and Jaylyn Waddle. We can't forget Najee Harris at running back.
No matter what the betting odds say, this year, Tide fans should be feeling like Pat McAfee.
Back when Alabama was ranked number 8 in the nation and Georgia was number 1. It was the SEC championship game and Pat had the opportunity to choose his pick to win the game.
