Future Alabama Quarterback, Ty Simpson, Hits Game Winning Homerun
It's been a good week to be Ty Simpson and it's only Tuesday. The 5-star quarterback from Martin, TN. recently received an invitation to the Elite 11 Quarterback camp this summer and yesterday he propelled his Westview baseball team into the region championship game with a late-game homerun.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback shows off his athleticism and an ability to be clutch by hammering the homerun over the fence to ensure his Chargers advance into the regional championship game. Simpson's team has already won the District13AA regular season championship and will now look to double up.
Simpson is the the No. 3 pro-style quarterback and 22-ranked player nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Simpson is one of three five-star commits for Alabama in the 2022 recruiting class.
Simpson joins Alabama quarterback Bryce Young and former Bama stars Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones as Elite 11 competitors this summer.
As a junior he passed for 1,888 yards and 20 touchdowns while also rushing for 311 yards and seven touchdowns.
Perhaps Simpson could help both Brad Bohannon and Nick Saban when he arrives in Tuscaloosa in 2022.
