STANDOFF: Tuscaloosa SWAT And Police Say It’s Over

The police and the SWAT team were on the scene this morning, of what authorities were telling us was a standoff earlier this morning.

WBRC TV reported that the suspect was not in the home on Fosters Ferry Road.

The incident began a little before 6:00 am with a call to police that involved a female being struck with a handgun by a male suspect.

We are continuing to follow up with TPD and our other law enforcement sources and will have more on this as soon as more details are confirmed.
