Former Bama Basketball Player Partners with Brookwood High School
Former Alabama basketball player Rodney Cooper and his company “VitaEra” will be partnering with the Brookwood High School basketball team this fall.
Brookwood head coach Joe Childers announced this partnership on social media, posting a picture of him and Cooper with the product.
Cooper launched the hydration company earlier this month and currently serves as the founder and CEO.
According to the website, “VitaEra Hydration is a multivitamin-infused powder with green tea extract and electrolytes. Its light, refreshing taste gives it a revitalizing quality minus the bad ingredients. VitaEra Hydration is a healthy hydration mix that tastes good and is good for you!”
In the company’s short existence, Cooper has already been racking up partnerships with sports teams in the Alabama area.
Cooper’s first partnership came with the Birmingham Bulls, a professional hockey team located in Pelham, Ala. Cooper announced his next partnership a week later which was with the Cullman High School basketball team.
The Hurtsboro, Ala. native was a member of the Crimson Tide basketball program from 2011-15. In his time at the Capstone, Cooper played in 131 career games, scoring 1,122 total points.
Cooper also saw stints professionally overseas and in the NBA G League with the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets.
