Forecast for the Saturday’s Insane Inflatable 5K in Tuscaloosa
The Insane Inflatable 5K comes to Tuscaloosa on Saturday and the weather is shaping up to be much better than year one.
If you ran in 2015, you probably remember the heavy rains we got overnight that lead to muddy course at Griffin Farms. We will likely get some rain on Thursday, but the day of the race is supposed to be nearly perfect conditions to get outside.
The National Weather Service calls for a high in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies. If you are running one of the morning waves, you might wear an extra layer as it's supposed to be in the low 40s/upper 50s, but there's no chance of precipitation on the day of the run.
Spots are still available for each of the waves through the morning and you can save money if you register by Friday. If you've already registered, you can pick up your packet at Academy Sports the day before the race.
