Almost every kid growing up can't wait to get their license and their very first car.  It looks like that car now will be a truck or SUV.

Ford announced last week that it will stop selling most of its sedan models in the U.S. to focus on SUVs and trucks.  The only 2 passenger car models it plans to keep on the market in North America will be the Mustang and the upcoming Ford Focus Active, scheduled to debut in 2019. GM and Chrysler are also cutting down on the number of passenger cars they will offer

The Detroit Free Press says that means the Fiesta, Taurus, Fusion and the regular Focus will disappear.  By 2020 they expect almost 90 percent of the Ford portfolio in North America will be trucks, utilities and commercial vehicles.  Meanwhile, Ford will continue to offer its full line of trucks, SUVs and crossovers.
