Flu In Tuscaloosa County

Doctors are seeing more flu in Tuscaloosa.

DCH saw a season high number of cases last week. Before last week cases had been trending down. 414 patients had flu symptoms and 12% of those tested positive.

Doctors are also seeing an increase in strep throat and severe winter colds.

Emergency rooms in Tuscaloosa and Northport have seen a rise in cases since January 20th.
Doctors say do not go to work or send kids to school with fever.
