
Flooding Concerns Threaten Portions of West Alabama
As showers and thunderstorms are expected across West Alabama this afternoon into the early evening hours. This also brings the influx of heavy rains at times.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Flood Advisory until 5:15 p.m.
Threats
The concern is for Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall, which is expected. This could cause minor flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas, as well as water over roadways.
