Flood Advisory Now Until 4 PM - Monday 2.10.2020

Since we will have a 100% chance of precipitation today, it's a good thing it's is Umbrella Day!  Be sure to bring your umbrella wherever you go today because you will need it!

Right now, due to heavy rain associated with incoming thunderstorms, the National Weather Service has issued a “Flood Advisory now until 4 pm this afternoon”.  This includes Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama, Pickens County in west-central Alabama, Greene County in west-central Alabama, Northern Hale County in west-central Alabama, and Northwestern Sumter County in west-central Alabama.  Some of the cities that the National Weather Service has cited that could experience flooding include “Tuscaloosa, Northport, Livingston, Eutaw, Aliceville, Gordo, Reform, Carrollton, Pickensville, Holt, Moundville, Lake View, Brookwood, Coaling, Vance, Coker, Akron, Boligee, Union and Gainesville.” Be sure not to walk or drive-thru any flooded areas.
