‘Flapjacks for Foster Children’ Fundraiser to Be Held Saturday at Southland Restaurant

Make plans to get breakfast at the Southland Restaurant this Saturday; you can get a stack of delicious pancakes and help out a great cause! The annual "Flapjacks for Foster Children" fundraiser will be held from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. this Saturday (August 24th).

The all-you-can-eat menu features pancakes with deluxe toppings, sausage, grits, milk, juice, and coffee; tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for kids and can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Southland Restaurant or Coaling Baptist Church. They'll also have face painting, glitter tattoos, and 'Defend the Orphans' t-shirts for sale with proceeds to benefit the Defend the Orphans Ministry of Coaling Baptist Church.
