The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama will host its first-ever Chamber in Session: Federal Affairs Briefing on Friday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa River Market. The inaugural event is presented by Alabama Power.

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Ala., who represents Alabama’s 4th Congressional District, will serve as the keynote speaker. He will provide insight on federal issues impacting businesses and communities across the region.

The Chamber in Session series features annual events such as State of the Community, State of the Economy, and State of the State. This new addition will broaden the series by focusing on critical federal updates that affect West Alabama’s business climate and economic growth.

Registration is $50 for Chamber members and $70 for nonmembers.
