Early Outlook on Tornado, Hail, & Damaging Wind Threat Across Alabama
Even though it's only Monday evening, we're already monitoring a possible severe weather situation this Sunday, March 30.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of Alabama at risk of severe thunderstorms on Sunday. This risk also covers areas from the Gulf Coast to the southern Great Lakes.
Keep in mind that the forecast may evolve as we approach the weekend.
The current main concerns are tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said, “For now, it looks like the highest severe weather risk will come late Sunday and Sunday night, but it is simply too early for details concerning the threats, timing, and magnitude of the event.”
The Townsquare Media Weather Center will continue to monitor this developing weather system.
