
Druid City Scavenger Hunt Back With a Spooky Twist
Just in time for spooky season, a Tuscaloosa favorite is returning this October.
The United Way of West Alabama's Druid City Scavenger Hunt has easily become one of West Alabama's most anticipated events. This year, it's back with a twist.

According to a press release sent to Townsquare Media, the United Way of West Alabama’s Young Leaders Society (YLS) will have a Spooky Edition of their Druid City Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday, October 21.Teams of hunters will search through downtown Tuscaloosa’s most notorious “haunts” in search of hidden clues to brew the perfect potion that will break the town’s curse.
The event will take place at Government Plaza starting at 5:00 PM sharp.
According to the press release, each team will receive their first clue at the start and from there, participants will be challenged to crack word puzzles, solve riddles, and unlock secrets leading them from one location to the next.
Of course the goal will be to discover the final destination and the first team to do just that will claim the grand prize.
This year's event will have food, fellowship and ghostly surprises at a secret location.
“This event is part scavenger hunt, part Halloween party, and all fun,” said YLS Scavenger Hunt Chair David Rodgers, in there press release sent to Townsquare Media.

The event registration is $100 for a team of four or $25 for individuals, who will be matched with a team. Space is limited, and early sign-up is encouraged.
