Dropping Temperatures in Alabama Prompt Frost and Freeze Alerts
Alabamians should be prepared for some of the coldest temperatures of the season.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Frost Advisory” and “Freeze Warning” for portions of Alabama. These will go into effect Friday, November 22, from 3 a.m. until 8 a.m.
For the Frost Advisory, you can expect temperatures as low as 33 to result in frost formation.
For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 are expected.
