Do You Know About The Northport Depot and Model Train Exhibit?

I can't believe I'm just now learning about the Northport Depot - Historic Site and model train exhibit! 

My son and I have plans this Saturday! This is so cool. What kid doesn't like trains? What adult doesn't like trains for that matter?

The City of Northport acquired the former GM&O railway station in 1995. Under the guidance of the Northport Historic Preservation Commission and the Black Warrior Model Railroad Association, in 1999 it opened as a model railroad museum.  Admission is free Saturdays from 10:00 – 1:00. However, they do take donations.
